Hope you are all starting to get back to ‘normal’ after the summer holidays. Good luck to all those who have children starting at a new nursery or school.
At Stripey Stork we’re getting set for a busy last quarter of 2015 – sorting donations of new and pre-loved items for babies and children, and then fulfilling the requests from local health professionals to help those families most in need within our community. In addition we have some special campaigns and fundraising plans to make sure we can continue to offer the high standard service we are becoming known for.
First up is the ‘Win a Car for £1’ event at the Belfry Shopping Centre in Redhill on Tuesday 8th September. The Belfry have organised this great event that is running for a number of weeks in the Centre. Each charity involved gets to keep 100% of the ticket proceeds they sell on the day so we are setting ourselves an ambitious target of raising £500.
The prize package includes the amazing new Suzuki Celerio, (worth £6999), courtesy of the Belfry, plus 12 months free valet from Car Valet UK and one year’s free parking at the Belfry. 30 runners-up will also win one month’s free parking at the Belfry.
If that wasn’t reason enough to come and see us on Tuesday we also have some free give-aways for anyone who comes to say hello! Thanks to our generous friends at the luxury beauty brand Jurlique we will be handing out complimentary Rosewater Balancing facial mists*. These are such a refreshing pick-me-up and a handy size to pop in your handbag.
As well as treats for the ladies coming to say hello, we’ll also have something special for the children. Thanks to the brilliant Pip Organic juice company we will also be giving out free cartons of their delicious organic fruit juices*.
AND of course you’ll have the chance to meet Stripey the Stork… and he loved cuddles! 🙂
