It’s a Girl! Celebrate Mummy Pig’s Baby Shower with Stripey Stork

Have you heard the news? Mummy Pig is having a baby and it’s a girl! What better way to celebrate than with a baby shower and everyone’s invited.

Here at Stripey Stork, we know how special it is to welcome a new baby, but we also understand that it can be tough for some families. That’s why we provide practical support to new parents, making those early days a little easier. One of the ways we do this is through our newborn packs. These thoughtfully put together bundles include essentials like baby clothing, muslins, nappies, wipes, baby toiletries, baby toys and post-pregnancy care items for mum.

Donate to our baby shower appeal

To mark Mummy Pig’s big news, we’re running a special baby shower donation appeal to help families who are facing hardship. From 25th to 31st May, we’ll be collecting brand new items for newborns and new mums at our donation point in The Belfry Shopping Centre, Redhill.

We’re asking for donations of baby clothes, nappies, wipes, bibs, muslins, baby baths, toiletries for baby and mum, maternity and breast pads, baby toys, children’s books and other post-pregnancy essentials. Every item will go directly to a new family who needs a helping hand.

The Belfry Shopping Centre is the perfect place to pick up these essentials and donate them to our baby shower appeal.

For baby toiletries and post-pregnancy care items, head to Boots and Superdrug. Both offer a wide range of trusted brands and everyday essentials, from nappies and bibs to soothing creams for new mums. If you’re shopping for baby clothes, H&M has a lovely selection of affordable outfits for newborns and little ones. You can even find muslins, baby toys and accessories instore. Waterstones and The Works have a wide range of books that any little one will enjoy and Toy Barnhaus is the perfect place to find a toy.

If you can’t get to The Belfry shopping centre then our Amazon wish list is a great way to send a gift to a family we support. Items are delivered directly to us and we will ensure they are put into our packs and sent out to families as quickly as possible.

Half term fun at The Belfry shopping centre

There’s also plenty of half-term fun in the centre. On Tuesday 27th and Thursday 29th May, pop into The Belfry to enjoy children’s craft activities and meet the Stripey Stork team. Throughout the week, children can enjoy a treasure hunt throughout the centre and Peppa Pig themed colouring sheets.

The week ends on a high with our Baby Shower Celebration on Saturday 31st May, where you can join us for a fun-filled day featuring a teddy tombola and raffle and the chance to meet some special guests.
