Our annual Stripes4Stripey campaign returned on the 19th June and once again our amazing supporters donned their best stripes to help raise money to support local families experiencing hardship. We had stripey t-shirts, shorts, skirts, dresses, socks and even shoes! It was fantastic to see our community come together in such a fun and creative way. Together, we raised a brilliant

Slimming World Tadworth stripe up early
Slimming World Tadworth got the stripey party started a day early, wearing their stripes to their meeting while collecting donations of toiletries and school bag items. Members also generously made financial contributions helping to add over £100 to our total.
Team Stork leading the way for Stripes4Stripey
Our wonderful staff and volunteers were out in full force, proudly wearing their stripes and, as always, trying to outdo last year’s efforts with even bolder and brighter outfits. We had stripes on show at all three of our locations, as well as from our Volunteer Team Leader who joined in from her holiday in Italy and our Office Coordinator who sported stripes while enjoying the sun in Portugal.
Stripes and smiles at Reigate St Mary’s
Reigate St Mary’s Preparatory & Choir School joined in the fun and organised for families to donate brand new stationery items and school bags in aid of Stripes4Stripey. Their donations will enable us to ensure we can supply filled school bags to children referred to us so that they have the right equipment ready for the new school year. Several of the children also joined in with the stripey fun by wearing their best stripey socks, creating a fabulous photo opportunity and bringing a smile to our faces.
Playball’s incredible collection
Ben and the team at Playball Reigate & Banstead threw themselves into Stripes4Stripey with real enthusiasm, doing a fantastic job of spreading the word to the Playball families. Throughout the week, they collected a range of pre-loved donations, nappies and wipes and on the day itself, the coaches, parents and children proudly wore their stripes. The response was amazing, and the donations filled three travel cots.
Singing in stripes with Unison Choir
The Unison Choir added their voices to the campaign, wearing stripes to their rehearsal and holding a collection for Stripey Stork.
Mayoral support for Stripes4Stripey
We were delighted that the Mayor and Mayoress of Reigate and Banstead joined in the fun, proudly wearing their stripes to show support for Stripes4Stripey.
More stripey supporters
A big thank you to Sal’s Shoes, Your Finance Team, I Choose Freedom and Stanwell Events who all wore their stripes and shared photos on social media to help raise awareness.
Stanwell Events even themed their messy play session for the day to be stripey – what a fun way to get involved!
Banstead Prep’s enterprise success
The brilliant Year 6 children at Banstead Preparatory School raised funds during their Enterprise Week and made a generous financial donation to Stripes4Stripey. We’re so proud of their hard work and community spirit.
Our stripey quiz night
We rounded off Stripes4Stripey 2025 with our much-loved annual quiz night at Reigate Manor. It was a brilliant night – a total sell-out with over 150 people enjoying the fun. Our quiz master Chris was amazing as always, and the curry was a big hit! Teams from Reigate Heath Golf Club, Unum, nTrust, Woodlands Children’s Centre, Reigate Squash Club, Woodhatch WI and Morr & Co joined staff, volunteers, trustees and supporters to put their knowledge to the test.
Congratulations to The nTrust team, who were our winners in a fiercely contested quiz, just pipping one of the Unum teams by one point.
Unum go above and beyond
Over the past 18 months, we’ve been proud to partner with Unum as the chosen charity of their Dorking office, and for Stripes4Stripey they truly went above and beyond. Unum generously sponsored our quiz night, covering all costs so that every penny raised could go directly towards our work. They entered three teams into the quiz, held a separate raffle at their office, and on the day itself a fantastic team of corporate volunteers wore their stripes while working hard on our School Days project, preparing uniform and school bags for children across Surrey and Croydon.
Thank you to everyone who joined in this year. Your generosity and enthusiasm make Stripes4Stripey the wonderful event it is. Together, we’ve made a real difference to local children. We’ll see you next year – Thursday 18th June 2026.
