Give As You Live, and help the Stork!

Those of you who follow the work of Stripey Stork will know that we appreciate extra funds to buy new items such as cot mattresses to go with our donated cots. Safe, clean beds for children and babies that need them most. Fundraising and your donations make this possible.

Did you know there is an easy way to raise money for Stripey Stork that does not involve parting with extra cash?

Everyclick.com have an online scheme called “Give as you Live”. It means you can search the web, shop on line from your favourite retailers, trade on eBay and raise money for Stripey Stork AT NO EXTRA COST TO YOU.

Our special address is http://www.everyclick.com/stripeystork, all searches, shopping and eBay activity made from here will raise money for us. How easy is that?

Once you’ve registered and got it set up then it automatically identifies if you’re shopping with a retailer that is part of the Give As You Live scheme.

So if you’re:

  • buying back to school essentials from Amazon you can raise funds for Stripey Stork.
  • ordering school uniform online from M&S you can raise funds for Stripey Stork.
  • booking a trip away with Expedia you can raise funds for Stripey Stork.
  • treating yourself to a new dress from ASOS you can raise funds for Stripey Stork.

You get the point….!

Everyclick has already raised over £4,742,027.79 for a wide range of charities around the UK, and Everyclick was voted website of the Year 2008 and has been recognised as a top 100 media tech company 2009.

I’ve been signed up since September last year and have raised £51.91 myself just from purchases on retailers such as Amazon, John Lewis, Tesco (and admittedly the odd Papa Johns pizza too!) It’s so easy, and once we all start preparing for ‘that event in December’ (let’s not mention the ‘C’ word just yet) you can just imagine how much we could all raise from online shopping.
