Stripey Stork win Best Newcomer in The Big Give Awards

In December 2024, we proudly took part in The Big Give Christmas Challenge – a match-funding opportunity that allowed us to raise an incredible £94,343. This vital funding ensures that every baby and child referred to us in 2025 has access to safe and warm sleep items, including cots, toddler beds, Moses baskets, new mattresses, warm bedding, pyjamas, and onesies. These items provide comfort, security, and dignity to the children we support, making a real difference in their daily lives.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we were delighted to reach our £80,000 target within just a few days, and went on to raise even more. The response was overwhelming, and we are deeply grateful to every individual, business, and organisation that contributed to the campaign’s success. Your kindness and belief in our mission allowed us to take full advantage of this match-funding opportunity, doubling the impact of every donation (up to our target).

But the good news didn’t stop there. In January 2025, The Big Give launched The Big Give Awards—a new initiative recognising charities that have excelled in their campaigns. Seeing this as a fantastic opportunity to showcase the dedication of our team and supporters, we submitted our case study application. We were thrilled when, on the 6th February, it was announced that we had won the Newcomer category!

Running our first Big Give campaign and it being such an ambitious target, was a little daunting at first, but after months of careful planning and preparation, we were ready to hit the ground running. This achievement is testament to the dedication, hard work, and passion of our team, as well as the unwavering support from those who backed our campaign. We couldn’t have done this without you. Thank you for believing in us, standing by our side, and making this possible, so we can make a meaningful difference for every bedtime.
