On Thursday 19th June 2025, volunteers, staff and supporters came together wearing their stripes and raising money to support our work with families across Surrey and Croydon. Schools, local businesses, choir groups, sports clubs and individuals all helped us raise an incredible:

Our Stripes4Stripey campaign is a day when we raise vital funds that will enable us to support as many families as possible across Surrey with the essential items they need. The local families who need our help are struggling more than ever, with new families being referred to us all the time. We are currently supporting over 200 families a week. Times are extremely tough and this annual event helps us to raise vital funds. It’s fun but most of all, it’s needed.
We hear lots of stories of families who are struggling to make ends meet at the moment, and rising utility bills and the cost of living are set to make things even more difficult.
It’s become tradition to hold a Quiz Night as part of our Stripes4Stripey celebrations and this year is no different.
This year the quiz will be held at St Mary’s Church Centre, Chart Lane, Reigate. We will have a bar selling beer, wine and soft drinks but in a change to previous quiz nights there will be no food included. Instead we suggest that as a team you bring your own snacks and nibbles – anything from share bags of crisps and chocolate to cheese and charcuterie boards. We’ll also be awarding a prize for the best decorated table, with the theme “Stripes4Stripey”.
Team will be a maximum of 8 and you can arrive from 6.30pm to decorate your table. The bar will also open at 6.30pm and the quiz will star at 7.30pm. We will also be running a raffle.
Stripey will see you there!
We’re always delighted when schools join in the fun for Stripes4Stripey. Teachers tells us that Stripey Stork is a tangible way to teach children about charity, recycling and appreciating that there are people less fortunate than them. We’d love for you to join in the fun.
