We have places available for the iconic TCS London Marathon on Saturday 24th April – join Team Stork!
Running the London Marathon is an incredible personal achievement, but running it for Team Stork makes every mile mean even more. By choosing to support Stripey Stork, you’ll be helping children and families across Surrey and Croydon who are experiencing hardship to access essential items such as clothing, toiletries, baby equipment and school essentials. Stripey Stork are giving them the support they need when it matters most. As part of Team Stork, you’ll receive dedicated fundraising support, encouragement every step of the way and the chance to be part of a passionate community making a real difference. Together, every mile you run and every pound you raise will help create brighter futures for the children and families we support.
By running the London Marathon for Team Stork, you’ll be helping ensure that children across our communities have the essentials they need to thrive. As part of Team Stork we will be with you from the very moment you sign up.
Across Surrey and Croydon, families are struggling to afford the basics their children need. Not the extras but the essentials.
In 2025, we supported 30,280 children with the things every child should have access to: clothing, nappies, school uniform, cots , buggies and other everyday essentials. Demand continues to grow across both areas, driven by the rising cost of living, housing pressures and increasing levels of in-work poverty.
We exist to respond to that need quickly, practically and without judgement.
Behind every referral is a child and a family facing difficult circumstances.
