UPDATE 28th June: We are very sorry to announce that the fairy door hunt has had to close earlier than expected, as more of the fairy doors have gone missing. We apologise if this has caused disappointment, but we didn’t want little ones turning up to an incomplete trail. If you did get to enjoy the trail then there’s still time to donate. Thank you!
This Stripes4Stripey we wanted to create something magical and stripey for all to enjoy. Which is why our mascot Stripey has been busy hiding themed fairy doors* around Reigate’s Priory Park and is challenging you to find them. Download the trail sheet from this page or pick up a printed copy from Pistachios in the Park Cafe and let the hunt begin. Find all 20 colourful fairy doors (not to be confused with the original fairy doors), each decorated by a local business or organisation which supports Stripey Stork. Don’t forget to hand in your completed sheets at Pistachios to enter our prize draw with a chance to win a Stripey Stork goody bag with treats.
This is a free community event, but if you are able to make a small donation to our Stripes4Stripey2021 campaign you can either do so here, by scanning the QR code on the trail sheet or by popping your loose change in the collection tin in Pistachios. The funds raised will be used to complete the pre-loved clothing packs we distribute all year round to support local families in need.
* Doors made using FSC certified MDF and purchased from a UK supplier. Thanks to Redhill Redstone Rotary for installing them and LexisNexis for printing the trail sheets. As the doors are in a public space, we cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage to them. We will however keep checking the trail and report any issues here. Likewise, if you notice any doors are missing, please email [email protected].
